Hello Ladies!!
I want to know - what inspires you? Who or what makes you feel good about yourself and encourages you to be more and do more than you think you can? Take a moment to think about it. Inspiration can come from anywhere. It can come from something big like a speech given by someone very influential or something small like seeing a color that makes you feel like painting a picture. You can be inspired by something that makes your day better or something that changes your life. I am inspired by many things all the time, but my greatest inspiration comes from two things. First, I am always inspired by people - whether it is someone I know, just met or even see on television. When I see the good in people and the good things they do for others I am inspired to be a better, kinder, more giving person. The second thing is butterflies – something that seems so small in the world. I’m inspired by them because I once heard somewhere that butterflies are God’s proof of second chances. Think about it, they live the life of a caterpillar, create a cocoon and emerge a beautiful butterfly. It reminds me that no matter what happens in life, what mistakes we have made we can have another chance. If we take a moment to look inside ourselves and work at being better (like the caterpillar in the cocoon) we can emerge from it better, stronger and more beautiful than ever – just as the butterfly. Please take some time to think about what inspires you and leave me a comment. I hope that we can inspire each other. Have an inspiring week, and remember… Always do you, Brimielle

Hello Friends,
Have you ever wondered what makes a great friendships? I recently heard a story that made me put things in perspective about friendship. I met two women who have been friends for over 50 years. When they told me that I smiled and asked them, "how do they keep a lasting friendship?" One of the women told me it was very simple, when they met over 50 years ago they both thought about friendship the same way. They said there were three things they established in their friendship from the beginning and lived by, which was respect, trust and loyalty. These ladies explained to me that being friends with someone is a choice. It’s not mandatory to have friends, but it makes life more enjoyable when you are able to share your greatest accomplishments, disappointments, fears, and happiness with someone. They told me that people don’t have friends or lose friends, because they don’t know how to “respect” the opinions and differences of others. They don’t show “trust” worthy qualities, and many times they do not understand the importance of showing “loyalty” in a friendship, which means being there for your friend through good and bad times and showing unconditional love. It was fun talking with them, and it made me think about my friendship with my best friend and all my close friends. It reminded me of how special they are to me. Share a great story about friendship. Skyy |
THE WINDOWLIFE is a journey and the experiences we encounter on our journey make us who we are. No one person has the exact same journey, but many of us experience some of the same things. The difference in those experiences are our perspective on how we view them. Here at THE WINDOW we want to write about things that make you think, things that inspire you, things that might spark conversations with others, and of course things that make you feel beautiful. This is our way of communicating thoughts from a positive perspective. skyyI’m super excited to be writing posts for "The Window". I want to share my life experiences as well as some of my friends experiences too. I want all of us to "win" in life and love ourselves while winning. I hope to inspire you to live your life to your greatest potential and remind you of the beauty that resides inside of you. Happy Reading!
