Our Mission
The mission of the BRIMI Foundation is to inspire girls to embrace their unique beauty and develop a strong sense of self-awareness.
What does BRIMI stand for?
BRIMI stands for Beauty Resides In My Image.
BRIMI stands for Beauty Resides In My Image.
The Foundation was established in 2014 to address the challenges of low self-esteem and to promote the benefits of a positive self-image. In a world where women are challenged with so many unrealistic ideas of who they should be, it is important that we learn to define beauty in our own terms and not by what society or social media deems as beautiful. The BRIMI Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that was created to inspire, encourage, honor and support our youth in defining beauty in their own image.
BRIMI is a movement that guides us to seek and acknowledge the beautiful beings we are. We want people to look in the mirror and see the beauty that is the reflection of themselves. Too often we choose to see ourselves with flaws instead of embracing the beautiful uniqueness of our features. If we start acknowledging the beauty within our own image and stop comparing our image to others then we can start seeing ourselves as beautiful. The BRIMI team is dedicated to developing programming that will support the movement.

Vision for brimi
My vision for the BRIMI Foundation is to be able to share enough knowledge with young women to the point where they can truly and authentically be who they are. I no longer want them to only be influenced by social media, but by what's inside of them. I want to share with them the value of self-awareness, because it is only then that we can discover who we are and why we operate the way we do.
Self-Awareness is the conscious knowledge of one's own character, feelings, motives, and desires. And it's time for all of us to uncover this about ourselves. This way we can live in complete "freedom" from the expectations of others, but more importantly we can live and accept ourselves for who we are.
I want the days of trying to fit in to be days of the past, and I want a future where standing out is the new norm. It's time to have the tough conversations about what's going on in society today with our young women, and why many of them are still dealing with low-self esteem, lack of confidence, ideas of not feeling beautiful or good enough.
As powerful as I know prayer is (and I BELIEVE with all my heart prayer is powerful), we still have to connect with our youth and allow them platforms to speak their truth and to share with us what they are feeling. How will we ever know without making that connection with them? My goal in 2024 is to build them a platform for these type of conversations and learning opportunities. I want to connect with the appropriate people and organizations that want to help. "It definitely takes a village...and we can all contribute to the village."
Sincerely,
Robin
