Meet Our Founder

Robin Barnes is the Founder and Board Chair of the BRIMI Foundation. She is passionate about creating book-based resources that help children and teens build emotional awareness, self-worth, and confidence through meaningful conversations.

Through BRIMI, Robin hopes to equip families, schools, libraries, churches, mentoring programs, and youth organizations with resources that encourage young people to grow, connect, and recognize their value from the inside out.

Why I Started BRIMI

I started the BRIMI Foundation because I believe every child deserves to know they have value and purpose. What began as a vision to help children see beyond outward appearance has grown into a mission of creating resources that encourage emotional growth, self-awareness, and meaningful conversations. My hope is that every child and teen who experiences BRIMI feels encouraged to become their best self.
