Our Internship With the launch of the Ambassador program on the horizon our organization has made the decision to create an internship program. We believe that this will be a great benefit to our organization, the candidate and most of all, the youth we serve. While this internship is unpaid, the selected candidate will gain a wealth of knowledge and experience working with our non-profit organization.
We are offering the right candidate an opportunity to not only, be a part of the day to day operations, but to give insight and input into the programming. BRIMI is happy to work with colleges and universities and their processes to ensure that candidates receive school credit.
What We Offer Just as with our program participants, we want our interns to have a well-rounded experience. Therefore, they will be assigned a variety of tasks, each with the intention of growing the foundation as well as the candidate. These tasks range from clerical, to research, to event and program participation. They will also have opportunities to interface with community leaders and organizations. This type of interaction can be extremely valuable in building a network for future endeavors.
Interns will work on projects designated by senior leaders to help promote our mission while gaining an insider prospective of non-profit agency operations. Although there is no guarantee of permanent job placement in the organization, the door is definitely open for an opportunity for the right candidate to become a part of the BRIMI team.
